Who LanguaLit is for
The fit is a reader who will stay for the ending and is willing to meet a little more language on the way. It is not a placement test, and it is not a race.
Readers who do not want to abandon their best language
LanguaLit is for people who already like to read and want a second language to show up inside that habit. You can keep the story in the language you read most easily and meet another language as short expressions. You can also choose fuller immersion when you want it. Shelves on the opening library cover Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Mandarin Chinese, with learner bands such as A1–A2 and A2–B1 marked on the routes themselves.
It is also for readers who want dignity in the practice. The instructional starting point published on the about page is a teacher-founded reading room: learners need genuine curiosity and a practical way to continue, not more reasons to feel behind. Support density can be lowered. Notifications can be turned off. A pause is allowed.
A route for a real week in your life
The private Story Concierge is for a specific context you choose: a new job, travel, a wedding, a mystery, or another meaningful event. You set the language, level, genre, and details. The route is generated only when you ask, requires clear consent, and stays in your Story Trail.
Biography requests are a separate, source-led path. They have to stay factual and cite sources. They are not fictional stories, and they must not invent dialogue, events, motives, or quotations. If you already have a text you are allowed to use, My text accepts a text-based PDF or DOCX for private cue cards and a recall prompt. Your file does not become a public title.
When another kind of study fits better
LanguaLit is a poor fit if you need a certified proficiency score, a teacher who can respond to your speaking in real time, or a promise of fluency by a date. It will also frustrate someone who wants only a context-free word list and does not want to read. Those are different jobs.
Readers who want the boundaries in one place can use the FAQ. Readers who want to try the voice of a story before any membership decision can open a free episode from the library.
Questions readers ask
Who is LanguaLit for?
LanguaLit is for curious readers who want to meet a second language inside a story they would actually finish. It fits travel, work, family scenes, and mystery, and it lets your strongest reading language carry the page. It does not replace a teacher or diagnose your level.
Can beginners use LanguaLit?
Yes. Opening routes are marked with learner bands such as A1–A2 and A2–B1, and the base language can carry the story while the target language arrives in short phrases. That is reading practice with support, not a measured placement or a fluency promise.
Can I request a story about my own life?
Yes, as a private Story Concierge route. You choose the context, language, level, and genre. The request needs clear consent, stays on your Story Trail, and is not published to the shared shelf merely because you asked.
