California law governs the LanguaLit terms of use and privacy policy. The state and federal courts located in California are the venue for any dispute, and any arbitration is held in California. Taciturn Studios LLC is a California limited liability company.
Billing policy
This is the operating policy for LanguaLit Member. Refunds, cancellations, and billing questions go to support@langualit.com.

Readers may open the first three episodes of a published story at no charge. LanguaLit Member is unlimited shelf access for the billing period, not a one-credit-per-book limit. It unlocks remaining published episodes, eligible private route previews, saved words, reader progress, and future companion-app access. Flashcards are included in every plan at no extra charge — never a paid add-on, never credits.
LanguaLit Member is $12 per month or $96 per year. When live checkout is connected, Stripe shows the selected price, billing cadence, and any promotional code before a reader confirms. Until then, this site collects no card details and takes no payment. A membership hold is not a charge.
Members can stop renewal through the Stripe billing portal once live billing exists. Cancellation prevents the next renewal, and Member access continues through the end of the already paid billing period.
A Member may request a refund within seven calendar days of an applicable subscription charge by writing support@langualit.com. Once approved, the refund is submitted within 48–72 hours; a bank or payment provider may take additional time to display it.
